Will Aqeeqah be valid if done by a relative?


Assalamu alaikum respected mufti sahab, sir Iwant to ask if aqeeqa should
only be done by the child's father then only it will be valid or can the
child' grand parents can do aqeeqa if they want to iut of love even though
the childs father can afford to do aqeeqah himself. Will the aqeeqqa be valid
in this case.
2. Will the grand parents will have to take permission from the childs father
if they want ti do aqeeqa. If they do it without his permission will the
aqeeqah be valid or will the aqeeqah be have to be done again by the father
to be valid.
3. Suppose someone else like any other relative want to do aqeeqah if any
child will the have to take permission from the childs father to do aqeeqah.
Will that be valid.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh. 

In principle, ʿAqīqah is the responsibility of the person who is responsible for the expenditure of the child.[1][1] If another person performs the ʿAqīqah with the permission of the father then it will be valid. [2][2]

يستحب لمن ولد له ولد أن يسميه يوم أسبوعه ويحلق رأسه ويتصدق عند الأئمة الثلاثة بزنة شعره فضة أو ذهبا ثم يعق عند الحلق عقيقة إباحة على ما في الجامع المحبوبي، أو تطوعا على ما في شرح الطحاوي،

أخبرنا مالك، حدثنا زيد بن أسلم، عن رجل من بني ضمرة، عن أبيه، أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم سئل عن العقيقة؟ قال: «لا أحب العقوق» ، فكأنه إنما كره الاسم، وقال: «من ولد له ولد فأحب، أن ينسك عن ولده فليفعل»

اس کے باوجود اگروالدین کو اس کی توفیق نہ ہوئی اور دوسرے کرنا چاہیں اور والدین   رضامند ہوں تو کافی ہوجائے گا دو بارا کرنا ضروری نیہں
